John has crewed hot air balloons since 1991. He participated in five
Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta's; the Temeculah, CA Wine and Balloon Festival;
five Battle Creek, MI - US Team Championships and many Great Wisconsin
Dells Balloon Rallies. He earned his Private Pilot license in 2002
and his Commercial Pilot License in 2004. John also likes to teach
new student pilots.
John has participated in many rallies in the midwest, as well as
the 100 Year Celebration of Flight in Dayton, OH. His international
experience now includes the Festival de Montgolfier in St. Jean-sur-Richelieu,
Canada. As a full-time college computer science teacher, he also enjoys
educating people about the joy of Hot Air Ballooning.
